Aims of the Association
The aim of the Association is to raise the profile of insolvency law in Germany and to promote the training and professional development of those working in this field. This aim is expressly pursued in the following ways:
- By encouraging persons, corporations, courts and local authorities engaged in the application of insolvency law to share their experiences, notably through joint meetings, conferences and presentations
- By encouraging collaboration between persons, courts, local authorities, societies and associations active in the field of insolvency law
- By encouraging the rising generation of legal practitioners, especially in the field of insolvency law, through in-service training events, etc.
- By cooperating with insolvency law associations in other countries
- By issuing statements on bills relating to insolvency law, with a view to creating and developing a legislative framework conducive to the viable and practicable conduct of insolvency proceedings
- By exerting an influence on the constitution of cross-border insolvency law
- By engaging in public relations work
